Kevin and Valerie Hulse offer comfortable and welcoming accommodation in their well established Guest House “Brynhyfryd” in Cardigan (Aberteifi). Cardigan is an historical town in the county of Ceredigion. This is where the first “Eisteddfod” (an annual national Welsh language musical/cultural event) was held and in the 19th Century the town had a busier shipping port than Bristol!

These days Cardigan is a busy market town with a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and a very popular local theatre Theatr Mwldan which also has a cinema complex. The famous River Teifi has its estuary in Cardigan and in the busy holiday periods, boat trips along the local coast are availalbe.

The nearby village of Cligerran offers canoeing trips on the river Teifi and the beautiful Cardigan Bay is within easy reach with its popular beaches at Poppit, Gwbert, Mwnt, Aberporth being on our doorstep. The newly established coastal path is also nearby as is the Local Wildlife Centre with its excellent facilities for visitors.
